RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

  1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.

  1. WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, take physical possession of the goods.

If you ordered multiple goods as part of a single order and these goods are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, take physical possession of the last item.

If a product is delivered in several partial shipments or pieces, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, take physical possession of the final partial shipment or final piece.

For contracts concerning the regular delivery of goods over a defined period, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, take physical possession of the first item.

  1. EXERCISING YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement, for example by letter or email.

You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but its use is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification concerning the exercise of your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

You are not required to provide a reason for your withdrawal.

  1. ELECTRONIC WITHDRAWAL FUNCTION

You may also exercise your right of withdrawal through the electronic withdrawal function available in the customer account or order section of our online store at:

The electronic withdrawal function allows you to identify the relevant contract or individual products that you wish to withdraw from and to provide an email address for the acknowledgement of receipt.

After you submit your withdrawal through the electronic withdrawal function, we will send you an acknowledgement without undue delay by email or another durable medium. This acknowledgement will contain the content of your withdrawal declaration together with the date and time on which it was received.

Using the electronic withdrawal function is optional. Your right to exercise your withdrawal by email, letter or another clear statement remains unaffected.

  1. EFFECTS OF WITHDRAWAL

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of the original delivery.

This does not include additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive your notification of withdrawal.

We will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless another method has been expressly agreed with you. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

  1. RETURNING THE GOODS

You must return or hand over the goods without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal.

The return deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day return period expires.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

Please retain evidence that the goods have been sent. Using a tracked shipping service is recommended but is not a condition for exercising your statutory right of withdrawal.

  1. CONDITION OF RETURNED GOODS AND DIMINISHED VALUE

You may inspect and try on clothing in the same manner as would normally be possible in a physical retail store.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

The absence of original packaging does not automatically exclude your statutory right of withdrawal. However, where possible, please use suitable protective packaging to prevent damage during return transport.

We do not charge a flat restocking or processing fee when you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal.

  1. PRE-ORDER PRODUCTS

The statutory right of withdrawal also applies to eligible pre-order products.

You may exercise your right of withdrawal after the contract has been concluded and before the pre-order has been dispatched. You may use the electronic withdrawal function, email us or send another clear withdrawal declaration.

If you have not withdrawn before delivery, the fourteen-day withdrawal period begins when you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, receive the goods. If products from one order are delivered separately, the period begins upon receipt of the final item.

A standard product is not excluded from the right of withdrawal merely because it was manufactured, ordered from a supplier or restocked after your order was placed.

  1. DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT GOODS

The statutory right of withdrawal is separate from your statutory rights concerning defective, damaged or incorrectly delivered goods.

If you receive a defective, damaged or incorrect product, please contact us at info@sonoftheriver.com. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
