SUNDAY RIVER WALK
No route to complete.
An invitation to step outside without turning it into a task. On Sunday, or whenever there is a little room in your day.
Start close to home.
Choose somewhere easy to reach. A local path, a park or a quiet street with a few trees will do. You do not need a river, special equipment or a whole afternoon.
Sunday River Walk is a personal ritual, not an organised event or a guided route. Make it as short, slow or familiar as you like.
Give your attention somewhere else to go.
Put your phone away for a while, if it is comfortable and safe to do so. Notice one sound beyond the traffic. One change in the light. One small thing you normally pass without seeing.
There is no checklist to finish. If you find a good place to sit, sitting counts too.
Make it yours.
Bring someone you enjoy being quiet with. Or go alone. Take a warm drink, leave it at home, walk a loop or turn around halfway.
Choose a route and pace that suit your mobility, the weather and local conditions. Stay on permitted paths, respect wildlife and leave the place as you found it.
The point is not how far you go. It is that, for a little while, you are there.
A little less scrolling. A little more sky.
